Review Of National Geographic Website

The website I reviewed is National Geographic.  The address for this website is http://nationalgeographic.com.  The author of this website is an organization called the National Geographic Society.  The site’s purpose is to teach you about animals, science and history. It gives you daily news and talks about the environment. There is music and videos on the site. You can also buy things or subscribe to the magazine.  It is appropriate for all ages. 

The first thing you see on the page are video clips. The site is pretty clear and organized. It doesn’t have bright colors, but instead uses black, white and gold as its main colors.  There are more words than pictures, but the pictures are large and colorful.  The words are easy to read and are a good size.  Information is well organized, and If you’re looking for something specific on the site, it will be easy to find it or you will be able to tell if it’s not on the website. The website looks real cool and you will get interested very easily.
