      Im pretty good on the computer. But i need some work on my typing skills. One of my strengths are web searching.Another one is video games, if that counts anyways. I dont really know how to make websites though. Or post things up on them for that matter.

   I thought that this class was my favorite class this year. Next year I want to learn more about how to make better websites. My typing skills have increased extremely, but im still not very good. I look forward to having this class again next year! :)

Greeting Card Assignment

 

I made my card with regular paper from my printer. I colored it with Crayola markers. I folded the paper into four squares. Then started first with the coloring, then the poem, the letter part of the card and last but not least the card company (Check Inc.). It was fairly challenging for me.

  I created the computer version of my card by going onto Microsoft Publisher and went to print publication. I also used clip art for some of the pictures on my card. Then I went onto paint to create my company logo. This was much harder than the hand made card was. But I didn't encounter any problems on this surprisingly!

   The pros are that on the hand made its a lot easier to make the card and it takes less time to make the card. The cons are that it doesn't look as good as if it were made on the computer and that if you use markers you cant go back and erase if you did something wrong. The pros for the computer made cards are that the cards are always really neat and tidy and it takes a lot less time to make your card then it would if you had to do it by hand. The cons are that sometimes you can't always get the pictures where you want them to go and I think that it is harder to make the cards on the computer than by hand.

  The computer method took more time for me because I have never done that program before and whenever I tried to print it out none of the pictures would stay in their places.

  I preferred the hand made method because it was easier for me and it took a lot less time.

Website Reveiw

 

  The website that I chose for the website reveiw is a University of Michigan fan site. Its called www.mgoblue.com. The design of this website is that there is a lot of information including tickets, clothes, and souvenirs, It is also colored with blue and yellow all over. This site is very cluttered and hard to read because everything is all packed together and it is hard to navigate because you have to use the arrows on the side because for some reason it wouldn't let me use the roller thingy on the mouse. This website has no glitches that I am aware of. It really looks like someone put a lot of effort into this website. The information on this website is all over the place. It is very easy to see where to click if you want to buy something or go to find some specific information.

    The purpose of this site is to show what has been going on in the community and maybe while you're there you could buy some stuff! At least thats what they think. The information that this site gives is news around the campus and athletic news too. The merchindise that they sell at the site is mostly clothes and souvenirs. This site is one of a kind because it is the official site of the University of Michigan website.

    The content of this site matches its purpose almost perfectly. You can see the content vey well. To me it makes perfect sense. I think that the best highlight is the movie clips. I think that the page that stands out the most is the slide show that shows news from around the capus and events going on. 

     I found no grammer errors at all on this site. There is no grammer errors at all in this site or on any of the links that it links you to.

     This site does everything thst it says it does, or at least all that I looked through. I don't think that there is any websites that I have been to that do a better job than this site does.

     This site is made for die hard Michigan fans. I think that this site is made for people that are in there teens. It's pretty simple for any age group except for the site is a little cluttered. This site is suitable for all ages without parent guidance.

     I would say that the author of this site would be an organization called the University of Michigan. This author is definintly an expert of this subject. This author is actually certified to make this site too.
