I like to wacth T.V. on cartoonnetwork after I get home from school, or a snowday.  We have not had a snowday this year.  I also like to play card game.  I am really good at rummy.  I also like to play board games my favorites are Stratego, Frustration,  and Monopoly.  I also like to play with friends online.  These are all things I like to do.

 

 

 

 

     I do not think I have great computer skills, but I have okay computer skills.  I’m not good at typing and research online.  I’m good at power points, and finding pictures.  I do know some things about computers, but not other things about computers.  I go online after school to play with my friends online.  I have used the internet to help with some research homework, but am not that good at it like I said before.

 

   

I liked what we did this year in computer class.  I enjoyed making an html. To put are reviews on.  I got better in typing and in computer research.  I have got in better computer skills after this class.  I have learned a lot about computer on internet safety, and knowing the computer parts.  I would like to work on typing next year in computer class.

Greeting Card Assignment

     

     I made my hand made card by grabbing a poem book to help me think of something to write about.  It was not that hard for me to think of my own poem.  I did not run into any problems.  How I made the card was by grabbing a piece of paper.

The materials I used:

1. A piece of paper

2. A pencil

3. Crayons

      I made my computer version by using the hand made card to help me.  The programs we used were Publisher, Yousendit.com, and Paint.  It was easy for me to do because I did my work.  I did not talk to other people in the class.  I did not run into any problems.

     The pros and cons for the hand made card were: The pros of the hand made card are: It is fast to finish and it is easier to write something down on the computer. Some cons were: It took more time to finish than I thought, and it was hard to find a poem.

     The pros and cons for a publisher. Some pros are the card looks nicer then the hand made card, and another is that it was faster to make the card. So cons are that it is hard to type down want was on my card, and another was you had to make a paint on the Paint program.

     The computer method took me more time because we had to type every thing we had on our hand made card. It also took more time because I had to make paint for it. 

     I   like the hand made card method because it is faster for me to do. Another thing is that I could just draw the paint on the card. Also, I do better on a piece of paper.

I choose www.cartoonnetwork.com as my website. The creators of this website and the T.V channel are Lucasfilm Ltd.  It has a lot of colors on the front page.  There are lots of blues, reds, yellows, green, and purple.  This website does not have any gammar or punctuation mistakes.  There are lots of games to play on the website. There are not too many colors on the website.  It is a very colorful website to visite.  It is not for kids under 7 because there are games that could be bad for them to play.  There are a lot of good games for kids 8 and up.  You can also watch cartoonetwork T.V. shows on the website.  There are about 33 cartoons to choose from.  You can use the arrow on the side of the cartoon people’s faces and if you click on them you can play that show’s games.  Their newest game on cartoonnetwork.com is one of their best games they have made.  The game’s name is Fusionfall.  It is rated E-10.  It takes a long time to load, but it is worth the wait.  But you have to wait until  December 27, 2008 for the next sneak peek.  The game is not ready to be played yet.  So the next sneak peek is going be two days after Christmas this year.  I hope you have in joyed my review on www.cartoonnetwork.com.  The purpose of this website is for kids to have fun.

Today I took an internet safety test on Quia.com.  It was a easy test for me because I know a lot about internet safety.  I was very surprised to see that I got 100% on my first try.
