 This Quarter we have technology. I really don't know much about computers as other kids do. I also don't use them a lot. I recently got an old computer and I have been fiddling around with it.My weakness in technology is typing Im really {really} slow. In technology im really good at

much from mrs.Wathen this year  shes taught us how to do html which was a lot of fun and I can type so much better now and I also am faster I want to thank mrs. Wathen for all shes done and i hope for next year we can make our own websites. I had a lot of fun and I became better at typing, html, making wikis, knowing the answers to joe cool and joe fool!Thank you mrs. Wathen!

Imgoing to review www.funbrain.com one thing I really like about it is the webbooks and comics. I dont like the adds on it though.

I checked out a website called www.Endangerd Northwest Tree Octopus.com I really liked it and was very facinated by it then I was told tree octopi dont exised. I was very dissapointed (very dissapointed)

GREETING CARD ASSIGNMENT

Our assignment for this project was to design a hand made card and

recreate it on Microsoft Publisher. The hand made card was really simple to make, all you had to do was fold it in half twice and make uniqe designs. The materials I used were paper, markers and pencils. The only problem I had with this project was the poem Im not exactly what you would call a poet. I liked recreating my card on publisher it was a lot of fun it was harder than doing it by hand. The only problem I ran into was trying to find clip art that looked like what I drew. I really enjoyed making my own company name and picture. The pros and cons of this project were on the computer everything looked a lot neater but on my card I could draw everything a lot better. The computer method took a lot longer than the hand made method because I had to work and figure everything out. I prefer the hand made method over the computer method because I can make my own designs rather than use the coumputer's.

     For my website review I'm going to look at www.mbayaq.org it is the site for Montery bay aquarium. It was exciting for me to find this site because my family and I used to be members there when I lived there 2 years ago! I really love the videos that make me feel like im there again touching the animals in the pool this website is fun and educational for anyone who wants to learn about sea life!!! The Montery bay aquarium's executive director and vice chairman is Julie Packard. The website really draws your eye it is a under water sceen and in the backround there are ripples oof water it is really creative. 

     The pourpose of this site is to draw torrists and people who love animal life this site offers information about the aquarium and his sie is defanatly one of a kind it shows the great things about the aquarium. The content on the site is readable and it is really cool all the things you can learn from the sea life. The page that really stands out is the Aquarium animals and exhibits I love that part because of all the animals pictures that you can see and the videos are really awesome and you can see what is going on at the aquarium.The site does not have grammatical errors in it all the pages are correctly spelled. Overall the site is really neat and it says things about saving the oceans and helping endangered animals which I think is really important.

     I don't think any other site that talks about sea life and aquariums is quite as good as this one. I think this site is affective to people of all ages it will make you want to come to the aquarium. This site is child safe parents dont have to worry what there looking at on this site just cute little sea animals. The website was made by the people who run the aquarium.
