     My computer strengthes are I can use the Paint program. Also I know how to type on Microsoft Word. My weakneses are I don't know how to use Exel or  know the parts of a computer. Also I can't use the flash drives. I would like to learn how to use it.

     This quarter In computer class I learned alot. Like how to use the scratch program. I also learned how to type the right way and use my flash drive. I learned how to make a web page. Next year I would like to learn to use Scratch better.

     My website reviwe choices are Wikipidia,Ask.com, Lego.com, piano.com or National Geographic.com.

     I have chosen to reviwe National Geographic.com.

"Greeting Card Assignment"

     I made my hand made card with penciels, and crayons. It was very easy. The only problem I encountered was thinking of my pome.    For my computer card I used publisher. It was harder because I didn't know a lot of computer skills. Although I didn't have to think of a new card.

     The pros of the hand made card were that I can draw well and that I thought of a logo before hand. The cons were that I couldn't think of a pome quikly also I didn't know how to fold it the right way. The pros to the computer card were that I didn't have to think of a pome and I know how to use paint. The cons are that I lost a picture because I didn't insert it right and I'm not very good with computers.

     The computer card was different than the hand made card because I typed it. Also I worked on it on the publisher program but with the hand made card I wrote and drew it on paper.

     The computer card took more time because my computer skills are not good, but also there were more distractions than my home made one because I wasn't at my quite house.I preferred the hand made one because drawing with a pencile is easy but the mouse is way difrent.

Website review

 

 

          The website I chose for my review is National Geographic.com. You can find it at http://www.nationalgeographic.com. The design of the site is cool, but it’s hard to navigate because it is trying to show you so many things.

          The purpose is to teach people about the planet so they can protect it.

          The content matches the purpose. They have videos and pictures so you don’t have to read just text. It’s very interesting that they find new species and treasures. Grammar and punctuation is used well throughout the site.

          Its effectiveness of teaching about the planet matches the purpose. The website audience is probably environmentalists,and adults.Someone not from this group might be confused, but not that much. The author(s) is (are) from the National Geographic Society. It’s hard to tell who the reporters are.

  I took the Jo cool or fool test. I geusse it was hard because I only got half of the qestions right. The test was about internet safety. I probablly got a lot wrong because I didn't watch the whole course.

     I made a scratch video. I thought it was pretty good. It had a crab, and two people and they were spining and walking and turning to alot of diffrent instuments and sounds. It was very funny.
